I loved staying at the campground that Matthew has obviously made extremely great efforts in maintaining and in welcoming his guests. Great views and walking paths. Just what I needed to relax and take a breath for once! See you in the future, I'll be back!

Had a great experience at Matthew's place. The place is unique, which is just what we were looking for. Pretty views, easy access to the I-70, close to some great places like Lake Wilson and some cute towns. Matthew was a wealth of information about the missile silo, history of similar sites and the area in general. Loved going down into the missile silo site and now know that Matthew has an OMG! Airbnb site in the missile silo that I have to book for next time. Super cool. Highly recommend.

It was so nice to be able to camp on my way across Kansas and to do so on an old missile sight! I wish I could have spent more time in order to take the full tour. The night sky was beautiful and both the sunset and sunrise spectacular. Matthew is creating quite an interesting and pleasant place, and I look forward to stopping by in the future.

Matthew met us soon after we parked and welcomed us to his beautiful property. My kids and I felt very comfortable with him and on his property. We arrived early evening so we enjoyed some time before and then the gorgeous sunset and incredible starry sky views! This location provided so many photographic opportunities! We weren’t able to participate in the historical tour unfortunately due to our family’s plans changing, but look forward to all he and his wife are able to continue doing with this incredible location and perhaps we can explore it again more fully in the future. Couple tips for future visitors: the swing is perfectly located for sunset pics, the two chairs nearby are comfortable, corn hole is there too, the trails are well maintained and where there are lights it is well lit, be careful around the concrete area there as some metal/screw stumps could trip someone if they were unaware, the car camping area is so comfortable and private while remaining close, no insects bothered us whatsoever, there isn’t a window on the bathroom door but it’s so private and they had no insects on property at all that we noticed so it was absolutely fine, there are also adorable lights on the tree by the swing, Matthew stayed not far so if we needed him he was there (we didn’t, everything was absolutely fine), the toilet is eco-friendly and instructions on the lid fairly easy to understand, only one other camper stayed our night and it was comfortable and spacious enough that multiple others could have as well as tent campers and we all remain comfortable. We would definitely stay again! Thanks again Matthew for being so understanding and welcoming! I’m grateful there are people like you who want to better our world and keep it beautiful and comfortable! Keep teaching and working! I look forward to seeing what you’re able to do with this place!
