Unfortunately it was not a pleasant experience as expected. It took us 2h to find the boat that was placed in a different location than the pin location provided by the host. The host was unresponsive and not availabe 24/7 as advertised, which caused us greater frustration during the checkin. The next day he apologised and explained his phone fell into the water. It was windy on the day we were supposed to have the navigation classes and get the Brevet, so the host advised us not to we navigate the boat, which I understand and respect the safety. Same time would have been nice if the host would have called our attention for this risk the day before when we reserved the boat, as we said clearly we would like to take classes. Unfortunately the 2 stand ups were not availabe. We did like the Marina and location. It is very peaceful and clean, with good restaurants around. Other boat owner was also very kind to find us the boat after more than an hour searching for it.

Nous avons passé un séjour original et très agréable sur le bateau de Capitaine Marcel. Nous vivons la Hollande au fil de l eau, avec en plus la possibilité de se balader sur les canaux. Un très bon accueil et une bonne communication avec Marcel, qui est un hôte attentif et réactif à nos questions. Nous recommandons vivement cette expérience typiquement Néerlandaise.

Super Wochenende auf dem Wasser verbracht :) Das Boot ist leicht zu steuern. Sehr schöne Landschaften und die Natur ist wundervoll. Die Kinder haben auch eine Menge Spass gehabt, wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen. Danke das alles so kurzfristig und reibungslos geklappt hat 👍

Zeer leuk alternatief verblijf op het huren van een kamer. wij hebben een maand in de boot verbleven met zn 2en waar meer personen toch wel snel krap wordt. Het is een leuke Watercaravan waar een vaarbewijs een must is om optimaal te genieten en houd er rekening mee dat het alleen gaat om de boot zelf en geen ligplaats.
