I absolutely would not recommend staying here. I would have sought alternative accommodation had I not had two children with me and I was at least a little familiar with the country/location. Not in Tema as advertised. No WiFi as stated. No breakfast as claimed. Less than 12 hour before arrival, host demanded payment on arrival when payment in full on the Airbnb platform has been completed in advance. I has to involve Airbnb to resolve. Padlocked into the compound on two separate occasions. An absolute safety disaster waiting to happen. When electricity failed, no generator provision was made even though there was one. Host refused to speak with me on the matter. When resolved, no explanation. No apology. Fairly received a full refund from Airbnb. In retaliation, host requested money for a broken AC unit. Luckily, I took a video inventory upon departure to counter the false claim. Host was unwelcoming, dishonest, defensive, uncompromising and uncommunicative throughout. Totally out on line with the Airbnb service standards.
