Location is EVERYTHING! This Sheung Wan studio was in prime position, close to public transport and the perfect base for exploring HK. The 3 flights of stairs from ground level to the lift that took you to the apartment was a surprise, so I do wish this was communicated prior to my arrival. I came to realise much of HK island is built upon stairs so you get used to climbing up and down them (of course there’s a difference between carrying a heavy suitcase and just taking yourself up and down the stairs). The studio space itself was very spacious and had all the amenities. I did have a problem with the washing machine hose coming out of the pipe which partly flooded the apartment, but it was rectified promptly and someone was sent out to fix the issue the next business day. All in all I had a good stay, the convenience of the location made up for other inconveniences experienced throughout my trip. I would stay here again but next time the stairs won’t be a surprise.
