Our lovely cottage Linga Longa has re-opened and ready to take your booking. The cottage is a comfortable self-catering cottage situated in Suiderstrand which is the last village at the southernmost tip, completely surrounded by the Agulhas National Park. If you are looking for a place that in peaceful and not overcrowded, and some days you may be the only people on the beach, then Suiderstrand is the place for you. Suiderstrand is approximately 5km away from L'Agulhas, which is the Southern most town in Africa where the Atlantic and Indian oceans meet. The area surrounding the cottage is filled with interesting flora and fauna. A quick walk down the road will take you to Pebble Beach. Look out for tortoise and the friendly franklins which wonder around the area. The beach has so many rock pools that are are teeming with sea creatures waiting for you to discover. Take time to sit on the beach and listen to the waves as they flow over the pebbles. This area is one of the most favorite nursing places for the Southern Right Whales. Nearby, at Struisbaai you will find the longest unbroken white sandy beach in the southern hemisphere, and the colorful Struisbaai harbor where you can buy fresh fish and see some very friendly stingrays.
