After reading some negative reviews about the communication with the host, the stocked items in the house, and the location, we traveled extra prepared with towels and general cleaning supplies. However, the negative reviews don’t give the house justice. We found it to be equipped with essential items for cooking, eating, and cleaning. I’m not sure if we even used the majority of the products we traveled with. The house was very family oriented and worked perfectly for us. We were traveling with 4 adults, 2 toddlers, and an infant. The crib and two twin beds made the house feel like a perfect fit. Also, the home was stocked with toys, an infant chair, and a high chair. In regards to the communication with the host, some of the reviews I also feel were unjust. Our code worked perfectly upon arrival, and we were able to coordinate a slightly earlier than anticipated check-in. The location in regards to the beach was definitely within walking distance. Just around the corner, we were able to enjoy coffee and shopping near Tybean. We also enjoyed dinner at Bubba Gumbos and Sundae Cafe. We love the charm of the island and found our stay to be very relaxing. Overall, very pleased with them home.

Our family made the best of our vacation despite this property being across the street from a sewage plant. The smell was overwhelming. This property does not supply enough toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, dish soap, paper towels for the duration of your stay. Lack of items available to cook a basic meal - no salt and pepper. No hand soap in the kitchen or bathrooms. No beach towels and limited washcloths (although these were found in a bedroom closet on our last night). The home is comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed the 5 minute walk to the river/beach and loved the Tybee Sunset! This property is over priced based upon the location and lack of simple conveniences.
