It was one of the most amazing stays I ever had. The hosts are super amazing, friendly helpful, fun and super cool. They proactively provide everything be it local recommendations, amazing barbecue or homely meals. The place is situated in Almora and is properly connected with everything. We got late at night in reaching but they proactively guided us and welcomed us warmly late night. The hospitality provided is just amazing. This was not just any stay but an experience for all of us with all positive vibes. Great place to stay with friends and family. Thank you for the experience Ravi and Meenakshi. Special thanks to Mahendra for providing everything at its best. I would definitely want to visit the place again.

Me and family came for 3 nights in this stay. Meenakshi and her family was there for us to accommodate us very well. They also guided us for the direction (regarding some changes in the local traffic). Stay was aesthetic, clean and neighbourhood was quite pleasant. There were proper facilities for clean and hot water. Surprisingly, they also took care of our ad hoc requirements for meal. I would suggest to try their kumaoni thali. They prepared it very well and it was delicious, specially loved by my parents. This location served us lot of options to go nearby and explore the city and learned about a history of Almora.

We had a delightful stay at Rustic Villa . We were hosted very nicely and welcomed graciously. The place was beautiful to say the least and aesthetically pleasing. The view was spectacular for Almora. We were given a tour of the house and the history of the place was shared alongwith the most recommended sights to see. However the only drawback is that there's no way one can park if they are travelling with their vehicle.

The property is BETTER than the pictures, is well maintained, very clean and has a BEAUTIFUL view from the dining room. All the amenities listed are present, Meenakshi and Ravi are superb hosts ; helpful without being intrusive and very sweet. Meenakshi gave us some recommendations which were great. The property is in a place which is not bustling with traffic ,yet ,has a good view and is private , so a sweet spot :) We also tried the food cooked by their cook which was very homely and tasted fresh. Only area of improvement could be if the location's gmap is shared , it would save some time and one of the bathrooms drainage can get blocked some time. All in all we absolutely loved our stay here and would recommend it to everyone :)

A Trip worth Remembering Beauty of a place is defined by the natural landscape or the weather or the calmness it brings with it. But what truly accentuates it is the hospitality it extends. And that is exactly what we experienced during our recent trip to Almora with our hosts (Ravi and Meenakshi). The house is a century old property overlooking the hills which gives you an experience of an era gone by but at the same time straying relevant even today. Ravi was there when we checked in and gave us a quick tour/history of the house with pakodas and tea thrown in! We wanted to taste the local cuisine and the home cooked food every day (breakfast and dinner) really did give us a glimpse of what Kumaon cuisine is all about. We also got to hear multiple folklores during our evening interactions with him which made us realise the unique identity this region has. All in all a lovely experience for all us and a definite Thumbs Up for Rustic Villa!
