We had a beautiful, peaceful time staying at the Hat Hill Cottage. My wife and I have busy schedules, and we rarely get time to slow down and relax together. This location was simply perfect for us to unwind in silence and privacy. We will definitely consider renting the cottage again in the future :) Thanks so much!
A beautiful cottage. Not suitable for mobility impaired with steep steps. Lovely location and surroundings.

Cosy cabin in the bush. Great dvd collection if it is cold outside, and ample heating (fireplace, bar heater, gas heater). Kitchen equipped with basics. Note host will assume if you book for 2 adults that both will want to sleep in the queen bed, so worth clarifying or byo linen if this is an issue for you.

Our family loves the environment that the Blue Mountains provides. We enjoy the local bushwalks, the serenity, the vistas and the wildlife. And we're happy to share it with you. We have lived in Blackheath area for almost twenty years now and have an excellent knowledge of all things Blue Mountains. From the local bushwalks, to the arts, growing food and cooking are my passions. We volunteer in local organisations and this helps to ensure we are a part of the local community. We keep chickens and a large veggie garden (this year we've planted lots of garlic and shallots to share with our co-op), a small orchard and have recently planted hazelnut trees. Please feel free to contact us if you have any queries - we will gladly answer any questions you have about Blackheath, bushwalking or our cottage :) And welcome to Blackheath and the Blue Mountains!
