Just book it. You won’t be sorry. We saw orcas and it was close enough that we were able to bring a caterer in and also pop into the city for work.

Matthew was a great host. Very understanding and easy to talk to. His home is stunning and the views even better. comfortable pillows and bedding. lots of stairs, great work out haha. Tons of little islands around to paddle board or kayak too, water was calm and not too busy with boat traffic. We were a large group and i think he was more than patient with us and i appreciate that. would definitely go back, not so sure he would take us again haha. was a wonderful vacation. Perfect spot. 10/10

this house has the most amazing view you could ever imagine. there are decks at every level that enable you to sit outside and take in the mountains and water. a boat dock to sit on and enjoy the cool breeze off the water. the house is beautiful, and in an unbelievable location. if you are looking for a house to rent that has the most amazing views and scenery possible, this is your place!

Absolutely gorgeous house — incredibly peaceful getaway from the city. We swam off the dock at night & saw phosphorescence. Lots of wildlife in the area. House itself was very comfortable — a well stocked kitchen with all of the utensils & cooking items we needed. There were a few items that needed repair here and there, but didn’t present any major issues & Matthew was quite responsive to our needs. One thing that may make the house challenging from an accessibility standpoint are the many many stairs to get from the top of the bottom. Some elders in our group found this challenging, but we supported them by taking breaks & having places to sit on the different levels. The very comfortable living room and bedrooms and view from the balcony made up for it in their mind! ☺️
