Stuart and Jacquie were great hosts, extremely friendly, helpful and responsive. The accommodations are superb. The whole place is beautifully designed, beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is fantastic - wonderful big bathtub and excellent shower. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat this is the place for you. It’s also very easy to get around the whole area very quickly despite the remote feeling of the hamlet. Although we were not able to take advantage of the pool in November, it would be fabulous in the summer. Highly recommend.

This is a really special place. Beautifully converted gite in stunning surroundings. The pool area is amazing and the whole place so peaceful. Our family of four absolutely loved our stay here. Lots to see, do and visit within 15-60 mins - cities, villages, restaurants, wineries, kayaking, the best second hand bookshop ever and vineyards as far as the eye can see. Stuart and Jacquie were outstanding hosts - thank you so much for a wonderful holiday.

Het geweldige huisje bevind zich in een gezellig, zeker niet doods, gehucht met een handvol huisjes, veelal tegen elkaar aan gebouwd. De 1e verdieping op de begane grond is tegen het natuurlijk gesteente aangebouwd en was eigenlijk een kelder, maar nu een knusse keuken. De huiskamer en een slaapkamer met een smal 2 persoonsbed bevinden zich op de 1e verdieping. Op de 2e verdieping een slaapkamer met 3 bedden, 2 ervan laten zich makkelijk aan elkaar schuiven tot een lekker ruim 2-persoonsbed. Op deze verdieping is ook een zeer ruime badkamer. Alle vertrekken hebben slechts kleine raampjes, maar de huiskamer heeft ook een deur naar de schattige buitentrap, zichtbaar op de foto’s. Maar dit is allemaal onbelangrijk omdat je al je tijd zult doorbrengen in de prachtige tuin met zwembad. Helemaal voor jezelf alleen met superveel privacy. De inrichting is naturel en rustiek met hier en daar een knipoog, waaronder een popart schilderij in de huiskamer dat van mij snel weg gehaald mag worden😜

We absolutely loved our stay here (family of 4, 10yo and 6 yo)! Beautiful area of France with the house nestled amongst the hills and vineyards. Lots of good towns and villages to visit, and a really good spot for cycling (although you do need to enjoy riding up hills!). Stuart and Jacquie were the perfect hosts as far as we were concerned. Perfect balance of being available to regularly discuss the area and things to do, but not being at all intrusive. They were both super friendly and approachable. The house is very nice and well appointed and the highlight is undoubtedly the garden, which we spent the vast majority of our time in. Just a great place to spend time. The evening star gazing by the pool is recommended.
