My family and myself totally enjoyed our stay at Bay Dream cottage on Smiths Bay in Prince Edward County. Beautiful swimming area, sandy bottom and a large shallow area for both kids and adults to enjoy. There is lots of room to enjoy the view of the lake from the large sunny dock. A very roomy, clean and very comfortable cottage well-kept with a gorgeous modern kitchen. I had my three daughters and two son-in-laws along with a couple of grand children and we had lots of space to enjoy and hang out together. The Sun Deck just off the kitchen had a gorgeous lakefront view and gave us lots of room to play. Five beautiful bedrooms, very clean and comfortable along with two full bathrooms and a two piece were all very roomy and clean. Sunsets from every angle. Thanks Marnie for a wonderful summer holiday. Can’t wait to return!
This is a Great Lake house! There is a gorgeous dock and a ladder of the dock into shallow water with a sandy bottom. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding. The house has air conditioning and is shaded by big beautiful trees. The nearby town is charming. The hosts gave us excellent recommendations and were very helpful!
This property is a quaint cottage with a kiss of french country and a million dollar view. The separate sleeping areas gave each of my sons and their families a bit of privacy and the big, open family room and deck made it possible for our whole family to make great memories together. The kitchen is well equipped and the house was meticulously clean. Hosts are wonderful and responsive. Sunsets were spectacular!
What a gem we found in Bay Dream! We were a family of 10 and loved the coziness of the home inside and out! We sat by the fire almost the entire weekend, loved sleeping with the windows open to take in the location's peace and quiet...Also so many bunnies and the swans took our breath away several times a day. We enjoyed our time immensely and look forward to coming back. Marnie and Brock are lovely, though we didn't have the pleasure to meet (this time) I felt I somehow already have! An unforgettable long weekend!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely house. It has a perfect outside area with a deck on the water and another looking over the water, a fire area and also kayaks and a SUP board. We came as a group of friends with one child and the house was a perfect size for us to enjoy our time. The bedrooms are all really good sizes and Marnie and Brock provide everything you need as as they are just down the road they are super helpful with anything you need. I would recommend staying here.

Brock and I are retired and hope to have time to travel soon. We both love to read, treetop trek, exploring and capturing moments through photos. We love people, and enjoy welcoming guests to the County. Our lives are busy and full but we love to take time to just sit by the water and watch and listen to the swans soaring home, their wings beating the air with a loud thumping sound. We never tire of the constant changing sunsets. We live in a moving painting that is alive with wildlife. My family roots were established in the County in the 1700s. Brock is a retired businessman and I am a retired Olympian. The peace we experience every day living in this amazing spot brings us such joy. There is always so much happening in the County that we could be going constantly. Balance is good. P.S. I was a gymnast...grin. We have met the most wonderful people through hosting. Now we are looking forward to adding YOU, to our list! Come and relax at the Bay Dream Waterfront. I know you won't be disappointed.
