The Hideout @Strawfields is a small rustic campsite, with a back-to-nature style glamping. It is set in the corner in a field with it's own private hot shower, wee shack + path to the stream. The hut is perfect for couples (2 adults) or families (2 adults +2 children). It has a double bed, bunk beds, log burner, hammock & outdoor covered rustic kitchen area. Strawfields is very small & natural campsite with campfires and relaxed vibe. A peaceful rural setting, yet minutes drive from the beaches. If you love camping, you will love the hut! Truly the best of both worlds, all the joys of camping with the added luxuries of comfy beds, log burner, hammock, cover dining area, fire pit, USB sockets, fairy lights and comfy chairs to relax. Can sleep 2 adults and 2 children, and best suited to pre-teens children 2-13yrs (not infants as has steps and fire) sorry we can not accept 3 or 4 adults. Our aim is to keep Strawfields a small and natural campsite, with simple, rustic facilities to give a back to nature style of camping. What is provided in the Shepherd's Hideout: Double bed with double duvet and 4 pillows and linen is included. Bunk beds with mattresses and 2 pillows, please bring your own sleeping bags for the children. Logs and kindling can be bought from the farmhouse, which helps us support local businesses. The cars are parked at the entrance and carts are used to transport tents and camping gear to your hut. We do not have mains electricity on the campsite, but each hut has it's own solar panel to power USB sockets inside the hut. There is a freezer available for ice blocks and the stream makes a perfect bottle cooler! Other things to note No smoking. No Dogs No groups
