Great country getaway. Quaint farm home with beautiful countryside. Awesome place for stargazing, minimal to zero light pollution. Would highly recommend to friends and family. Host was very friendly and responsive.

Katie’s cottage was very clean and offered everything you’d need to live comfortably during your stay. It was very accessible to places we wanted to visit such as Benezette, Kinzua Bridge, Lyman Lake, and the small towns of Coudersport and Galeton. I would strongly recommend Katie’s Cottage to anyone wanting a bucolic, peaceful place to stay.

Yet another great stay at Katie's. The location is beautiful, the cottage is clean and comfortable, and Katie is a great host!

I hate leaving negative reviews, but in this case, I have to. First, positives: Katie is a great host, the house is cute and generally has everything you should need (kitchen is well stocked). Beautiful location. We loved it the 1st night. But on the 2nd we noticed a very strong nasty smell in the basement that came up into the main living room. The basement is also the 3rd sleeping area (couch). Our daughter slept down there and woke up with a headache (from the smell) that never left. We opened all the windows, closed the basement door, and the smell still came upstairs. We contacted Katie and she apologized, and acknowledged that the smell was something that comes and goes in the house and she hasn't been able to fix it. The smell made all of our party sick (nauseous, headaches, dizzy). That lasted for 36 hours AFTER we left the house early. Airbnb refunded about half of our money. We would not have rented the house if we had known about the smell. It really ruined our trip.
