I traveled to Lisbon for the first time, with a group of 25 people, for a full business week, of team building activities, plannings and hackathon. Intendente 1865 was a perfect place for us, close to metro, and yet we had privacy and super silent bedrooms and comfortable beds, an amazing lobby, displaying the architecture and the construction techniques of 1865. Everyone from the staff, including the owners, were always lovely, friendly, helpful and highly responsive whenever we needed! The lobby was a bit noisy for such a big group to work and have discussions together, but definitely it worked for our purposes. The meals were amazing, and they managed to plan the menu following our big group's specific diets and food allergies. The Fado evening presentation, with brilliant and known artists, was just the perfect venue! They dazzled us and provided us the joy and the very connection with the local culture we were seeking for! Thank you guys! We loved and recommend you!

This location was perfect for our company offsite with visitors from all over the world. Rooms were exceptionally clean* and comfortable and so important to get everyone their own bathroom. Susana and her team were kind and flexible; supporting early checkins and late departures and such. They also provided a breakfast and lunch buffet for us daily with lots of options (including vegetarian and vegan). As an FYI, the main bar space is an extra fee to use (though we found it very valuable) and make sure to confirm the exact number of rooms you need w/ ensuite bathrooms (some are right outside the bedroom, but they're also in the midst of renovations, so some things are changing). Would definitely recommend and would definitely go back! *With one small exception: one room had a smoke smell due to a previous guest who broke their rules. Luckily that room was extra, so we didn't need to use it.

Susana who was our contact at Intendent 1865 could not have been more helpful. Despite some problems that we experienced with Airbnb in sorting out payments, Susana was patient and supportive. The group really enjoyed the vibrant area in which Intendente 1865 was located - we loved the café on the corner opposite our road - they do amazing custard tarts - also with the Metro being so close everything across Lisbon was easily accessed! We were able to use the common area on the first floor to gather as a group and had a couple of meals together - the kitchens were well appointed with plenty of equipment. I am happy to recommend this accommodation. Thanks again Susana - your staff were all lovely too.

Our extended family of 34 absolutely loved this place! Everything was amazing and the hosts were so helpful and proactive. Perfect for big groups.
