Amazing little spot in the mountains of the Southern part of the Xania prefecture. In reach of all the beautiful spots and adventures Sougia has to offer: beaches, mountains, hikes, great food and people. Cute traditional house located in the small town of Kampanos. Many thanks to Sofia and her father for a lovely stay!
What a find. Possibly one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in. Located in a delightful small village in the mountains (be sure to check out the ceramic workshop). I love the way the church bell rings at 23 and 53 minutes past the hour - apparently to give the locals a bit of time for any arrangements they have made :) Spacious apartment with two balconies with stunning views (and an extra outdoor shower to boot). Beautifully furnished and well provisioned and immaculately clean. Super friendly host (thanks Polykarpos) who checked everything was OK during the time of the visit - it was! Do the walks from Sougia to Lissos and the Irini Gorge - not to be missed. Can't recommend highly enough.
This is a great place for those looking for a calm stay in the mountains. It's a great location for many nice day trips including the beautiful beach at Sougia at 20mins away, and just absolutely amazing for watching the starry night sky. Highly recommended!
Le logement proposé par Sofia est très agréable. Grand, fonctionnel, très calme et avec des terrasses vue sur les montagnes très agréables. L’accueil par le papa de Sofia est formidable : hyper agréable et chaleureux. Des cadeaux de bienvenue de la production familiale et locale sont rendent l’accueil encore plus agréable ! Un gros coup de cœur pour le logement et la qualité d’accueil des hôtes !
We will treasure the views of this place, and the hospitality of Polykarpos and his neighbours, forever in our hearts. It was very clean, relatively cool up in the mountains, and mosquito free. Kampanos is a bit quiet so all tavernas are driving distance, but worth it for the peace, and the stars at night. I enjoyed the addtional outside shower too. Enjoy!!
