Nice house. Make sure you bring any food and cooking supplies other than basic pots and pans. No spices (even salt and pepper). There are LONG staircases too and from the house. In bad weather or for an elderly/disabled person this would be impossible to navigate. Do not be deceived by the pictures. It is a long way from top of hill to house. And then a long staircase from house to lake. The house is comfy and cute. Would recommend but know what it is before booking. Eduardo the property manager is very responsive and helpful.

Fantastic stay on the lake! This property had everything needed to enjoy a week of vacation on the water. We will be back again in the future. Lake Waramaug is nestled in one of the most scenic areas of Connecticut. One thing to mention is that the property is built into a hillside and it’s quite steep.

This place is a charming gem on the lake. Rustic yet well maintained and clean. We lived in the screened in porch and on the dock located on the lake. The pictures of the private dock don’t due it justice. There are boats available, chairs ect… we sat on the dock, brought floats for relaxing in the water and then napped and had cocktails on the screened in porch. As the description says, there are a lot of stairs but it was a good workout between wine and lots of good food.

Great place! Lake access, great area to be in, awesome patio and fire pit. Had a lovely time. Just make sure to take the gopher stakes out and remove the batteries when you arrive.

Great location. Convenient to all. Lake is beautiful. House is cozy. Loved the dock, screened porch, barbecue. Easy to contact hosts.
