We booked David’s home on a whim after our original vacation plans fell through and I’m really glad we did. It had all of the amenities a family could ask for and then some. Our little one is too young to enjoy any of the available games and activities, but he’ll get his chance because we’re already planning to come back in the future! I would highly recommend this stay to any family, especially if you have young children. Dave is a great host and a nice guy, also his dog is super cute and friendly.

One of the best Airbnb's we've ever used. David is a great host - not only for info about his home etc but just to chat, share experiences, advise about property interests etc. Hoping he has made a connection with our daughter and partner who live in the area. Guessing they will become good neighbors. You cannot find a better resourced home - every possible entertainment option you can imagine, daily freshly deposited eggs, totally lovable Moon pup who makes everyone feel special, and a very spacious and fully stocked home. Hope to check in with David periodically when we visit our daughter in the area. Anyone who stays at David's home will have a grand time.

This is our second summer renting David’s home and it’s always the perfect, relaxing getaway. David’s home is so clean and family friendly. We stayed with multiple children and other than packing a few things for my 2 year old, the other kids were well entertained with what’s provided at David’s house. The home is so comfortable and all the amenities are as described. If we ever had a question or concern, David was quick to respond via text. He is a wonderful host and we can’t wait to return for more getaways there in the future. 10/10 would recommend.

Wonderful place to stay for a family. Lots to do at the house. Many amenities and places to relax. Kitchen is very well stocked. David is extremely responsive.

David's home is the perfect setting for two families to "get away". The home itself is a work of craftsmanship and for anyone who appreciates good woodworking, exploring the details in the home is enjoyable in itself. The access to the outdoors is fantastic. Right down the road from Minnewaska and the Mohonk Preserve, the ability to hike / bike / climb is right there. And, at the house itself, our kids were able to step out the door and jump around on the trampoline, splash in the pool and then relax in the hot tub. Can't be beat. As a host, David is great. While there wasn't anything that we actually needed, I certainly got the impression that if we had needed something, David would have had it handled. Beautiful place, great location, quality individual hosting; couldn't ask for more.
