My husband and I just had a lovely stay. Phillipa and David are such wonderful hosts who make you feel at home. They are open, warm and honest, and we loved talking with them. The house is beautiful and clean, our room is comfortable. The location is very convenient for walking to the seafront and restaurants. We can’t recommend them enough!

I stayed here for a work trip and the location was ideal. Easy to walk to work and to local shops. I was welcomed and had a great time chatting in the evening. They were always happy to help and gave great recommendations for the local area. Very knowledgeable. The house is very well looked after, clean and tidy. My privacy was respected but I was always welcome to join them should I wish. I would strongly recommend them to my friends and family for a stay in Torquay.

It was my first experience of an Air BnB, and I thought a communal bathroom might not suit me with my menopausal night-time bladder (!), but it was never a problem and I loved sharing Philippa and David's home! The room itself is spacious, light and roomy - beautifully and tastefully decorated. Absolutely everywhere was clean and tidy, and there were plenty of duplicate kitchen utensils if others were in the dishwasher, having been used by other guests. As for Philippa and David?... well, my next Air BnB hosts have THE highest standard to live up to!! Not only are they warm and friendly people, they really went the extra mile to help me during a difficult training week. David helped me with my cycle when I returned from a long day and an uphill ride and Philippa shared a glass of wine whilst we all chatted. They both have a wonderful sense of humour, so every day resulted in laughter.
