自我介绍

I first picked up a pair of drumsticks when I was 9, and since then I have studied with Márcio Bahia , Alan Browne, David Jones, Colin Hoorweg, Edu Ribeiro, John Riley and Johnny Vidacovich in Australia, U.S.A. & Brazil. I graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Music (Jazz) from the Australian National University and since that time I have performed with Dale Barlow, Jacqueline Gawler, Glenn Cannon, Martin Breeze, Ray Beadle and Sérgio Brandão at various venues in China, Australia and Brazil. From 2003-2004 I undertook a 14 month trip to South America through Argentina & Brazil. Cities included Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Salvador, Belo Horizonte and Buenos Aires to study Brazilian music and source for the best musicians from these cities for my company Freelance United Music. In addition to my work as a performer, as of 2009 I have taken on the role of a music producer with Brazilian bassist Sérgio Brandão in producing the world’s first ever-authentic Brazilian album sung in Chinese & English.
