We stayed for the month at Hummingbird. It was great and the local hosts, Ralph and Julieanne, were great as well. Very responsive when we needed them. Housekeeping, lead by Marian, was great as well. We plan to go again soon for another month. Barbados is wonderful and the hummingbird is a great place for an extended stay. John and Christa

The place was extremely well constructed with block walls and concrete stucco and beautiful tile everywhere. the house manager met us on arrival and placed some essentials in the fridge for an easy transition. very large for 2 folks and right on the beach. the maid service was amazing as they came daily except weekends and even did our laundry. Marion was a gem. at initial booking communication was a bit dodgy but once connection was made it was brilliant. part of the problem was we booked so close to the trip. highly recommend a stay here for a private beach and peaceful relaxing vacation. we would also recommend you rent a car to get around the island. everything is a quick drive with max drive being 45 minutes to north side. great experience overall. n

The best thing about the Hummingbird is its location which is on a beautiful beach. The apartment had everything you needed and was tastefully furnished and comfortable. I injured my leg at the start of our stay (not related to the apartment) but Ralphie and his wife Julianna’s help and concern was appreciated, as was the help and support received from the housekeepers, Maureen and Marian who also contributed greatly to our stay. It is our intention to return again soon.

Amazing property and very friendly host. The whole process was made very easy. Apartment is on the quietest of beaches, vwey r lazing with gorgeous views. Inside it is immaculate and very tastefully decorated. House keepers and local manager are very nice and rally helpful. We miss it already
