The Quebe Guesthouse is a lovely, authentic and historic farmhouse on 30 acres full of huge, ancient live oaks with limbs the size of large tree trunks! This peaceful rural location provided us some of the best sleep in a while! Relaxing on the front porch with a cold drink at the end of the day, and in the comfortable living room later made this a great getaway!

My cousins and I wanted a few days to chat, play a little Mahjongg, and relax. Charlotte's house was the perfect location! There were four of us so we each had our own room. Charlotte provided helpful instructions and answered all of our questions beforehand. She greeted us when we arrived and even helped us set up the table for MJ. We had everything we needed to eat in for breakfast (thanks for the eggs!) and lunch. She provided recommendations for meals in town when we wanted to eat out for dinner. The farmhouse is so quaint and inviting. It is a perfect place to get away especially great for our girls' weekend!

I’m not one to exaggerate but Quebe house was wonderful. A beautiful, clean, historic house and peaceful grounds. The house is very well built and very well kept with more than enough space. Have a fun time reading the scrapbook with the family history, while viewing all the pictures and certificates on the wall. Find some privacy in the parlor, back porch, front porch, patio or even the chairs in your bedroom, then gather with your companions in the large kitchen and dining room. Charlotte will come by to visit and tell family stories, or leave you in peace if you prefer. (We recommend the visit.) Getting into town is a just a lovely short drive through rolling farmland.

Charlotte is a wonderful hostess and helpful. Very clean and well maintained. This vintage, antique cozy home is a ways off from the main road but it is nestled in the prettiest country roads of Brenham. 15 minute drive to main areas.
