Hallo, wir, 2 Paare und ein Hund haben eine Woche die Wohnung im Erdgeschoss, Casa Mimosa, bewohnt. Das Haus liegt ein wenig im Hinterland ist aber gut erreichbar. Man muss nicht stundenlang durch die Berge fahren um hinzukommen. Ganz im Gegenteil. Der Supermarkt ist ein paar Auto Minuten entfernt und es ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Schon bei der Ankunft waren wir begeistert. Ein schönes, typisch italienisches Haus mit schönem eingewachsenen Grundstück. Die Poolanlage direkt am Haus Sehr sauber. Die große Wohnung ist schlicht ausgestattet aber sehr gemütlich. Wir waren einmal im fußläufigen Restaurant „Le Mignole“ lecker essen, danach haben wir auf dem Gasherd selber italienisch gekocht. Nicht, weil es uns dort nicht geschmeckt hat, es war phänomenal, sondern weil es uns einfach Spaß macht selber zu kochen. Und so ein Gasherd ist einfach genial. Einen großen Backofen gab es nicht. Das war aber auch nicht tragisch, denn es gab einen Mini Back Ofen, der völlig ausgereicht hat um Brötchen auf zu backen oder mal etwas zu überbacken. Da ich wusste, dass Italiener nicht so frühstücken wie wir Deutschen, habe ich meine Filter Kaffeemaschine mitgenommen. Ein kleiner italienischer Kaffeeaufbrüher ist vorhanden. Der nächste Supermarkt, Bennett ist circa sieben Autominuten entfernt und sehr gut sortiert auch was frischen Fisch/Seafood angeht. Wir hatten einen Pool Tag nach Ankunft, ansonsten haben wir schöne Ausflüge ins Umland gemacht. Es gibt viele schöne Ziele, nicht nur Monaco. Zu empfehlen ist Porto Maurizio. Hier empfehlenswert das Greenwich Café in der Via Scarincio. Wir wollten erst nicht hingehen, weil es direkt an der Straße war. Aber der Wein ist lecker, der Gin Tonic fabelhaft und es gibt kostenlose sehr leckere Häppchen dazu. Wir hatten wirklich einen sehr schönen Urlaub und wir haben uns in Lauras Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war perfekt. Laura hat mir persönlich sogar einen Sonderwunsch erfüllt, wofür ich mich noch mal ganz herzlich bedanken möchte. Es war perfekt. Du bist wirklich ein Mega Superhost! Danke!!! PS: natürlich liest man sich die Rezensionen durch. Es ist schon wirklich sehr interessant, wie unterschiedlich die Wahrnehmungen von Menschen sein können.

Overall the stay was OK. Laura was very helpful with recommendations for shopping and activities in the region. The pool is extremely well maintained and the best thing of the whole apartment. The kitchen lacks equipment but was very big and if you bring your own stuff it is perfectly fine. But note that the oven is a very small one and not really useful to make things that require high heat. But the gas stove was nice! Unfortunately the furniture and the decor were not in the best condition. I even fell from a chair that was breaking apart under me because of rust. And the biggest drawback was that we had to share the terrace with another group of 7 people. We were lucky because we got along quite well with the other group. But I can imagine that this can also be very bad for other constellations. At the same time Laure tried to assign certain areas of the terrace to us and the other group. This was communicated rather harshly. We and the other group were a bit confused by this because we did not really understand the logic behind this since the terrace clearly was too small for two groups of that size. On the other side of the valley is a factory which is quite noisy and you really need the car to get anywhere because there is not much to do in the direct surroundings of the house. These things are all not clear from the description or the pictures. It would have been nice if we knew it before. So I hope the the description gets updated.

Der Pool ist phantastisch und das große Grundstück bietet viel Platz. Einiges ist renovierungsbedürftig und eine Klimaanlage wäre bei 27 Grad in der Nacht angenehm gewesen. Für uns hat aber das Gesamtpaket gestimmt und wir würden die Ferienwohnung wieder buchen.

Our experience with this location could have been better if you knew a few things that no one mentioned in the previous comments because at least you know what to expect. First of all, the house is located in an industrial area. Opposite the residence there’s a factory visible from your main windows and terrace (a real holiday killer feeling at first). Then, the pictures do not reflect reality especially when it comes to the garden. There’s no garden, no green area you can put your feet on. The inside of the apartment also as changed drastically from the pictures, we had no curtains on main window at our arrival and furnitures were different as well. Beds are really old and bad, none of us (family of 6) slept well. The bath tub was out of order and the kitchen is more than outdated. Wifi also doesn’t work well at all. A pity for the children who were unable to go on their iPads in the evenings. The pool (the very big plus for this location) is at walking distance from the house as you need to go down the stairs, cross the parking area and either enter by what is supposed to be a green area (no grass and weeds all over the place) or either by the side entrance on parking path. Also note the house is located in a hilly street dangerous to walk in as cars, vans and even trucks pass by the entire day. There’s no bakery or shop at walking distance, you must take your car EVERY time you leave the house. The host is sweet and helpful if you ask for places to visit, etc. Liguria remains a fantastic place to visit just a pity that the property is located in the most industrial area.
