We stayed here 5 weeks. A ground-floor apartment in a garden setting with a gorgeous view of the valley and Korthi Bay. Spacious, bright and airy, with an eat-in-kitchen and a generous dining and living room area, accessible by three interior steps down. Easy walk to the village if you’re OK with a 10 meter elevation difference. On the down side, everything is rather sparsely outfitted, from kitchen to furnishings indoor and out, sometimes very low water pressure, and the mattress is incredibly firm so one of us ended up on the couch. Our two requests for dish cloths, more towels, and sheets took 3-5 days to be filled. We worked on retraining the unusually pushy cat mentioned by other recent reviewers but 5 weeks wasn’t enough to get the job done. All that said, we enjoyed our stay and Korthi certainly is a great place, with swimming, hiking, very interesting flora and fauna, history, wonderful bakeries, cafes, shops, and restaurants.

onze aankomst was erg fijn, we konden eerder terecht en de host kwam ons begeleiden bij het huis. hier maakte we al kennis met de oranje kat van het huis. het huis was schoon maar al snel kwamen we erachter dat het matras ontzettend hard was, dus houd hier rekening mee. wij hebben ook de slaapbank geprobeerd maar dit was ook niet ideaal. ook merkte we snel dat na het douchen er water naast de douche kwam wat niet meer wegliep, hierdoor liep je door een plasje water als je daarna het toilet wou gebruiken. wees ervan bewust dat je nergens wc papier door mag spoelen. douche was koud of heet. er was ontzettend veel wind, twee van de drie stranden die bereikbaar zijn ter voet zijn dan te winderig om te liggen. er is een strandje die verstopt aan het einde van de weg ligt waar geen wind is! we moesten ontzettend alert zijn dat de oranje (dieren vriend van het huis) niet naar binnen ging, waardoor we nooit de deuren open hebben gezet. als we in de keuken waren kwam hij altijd miauwen.

The house has a beautiful view. It is very big, with good equipments. You can go to the beach by feet. Moreover, the host is very helpful and reactive.

Lovely apartment with a magnificent view and many amenities for a welcoming stay. Just a few steps from a lovely village with restaurants and bars as well as a beach. Just a note if you are sensitive to hard mattresses, allergic to neighbourhood cats, or need very fast wifi, maybe another accommodation is better suited for you, but overall we had a great stay and felt very comfortable.
