I was staying there with my husband. We liked the place immediately. The actual place is older than in the picture but it’s still nice and clean. The place was also quiet and aesthetic. The room was comfortable; the mattress, bed sheet and everything else. The staff was also helpful. They do know places to go and how to go. They also offer local tour to different places in Dieng (with a fee). They have a common space with kitchen and cutleries (if you’re sensitive to hygiene, bring your own cutleries or else buy them in Indomaret nearby). The parking is also spacious. The price is so worth it.

Strategically located hostel with decent bed & bathroom, okay public space, good Receptionists service, value for money, acceptable breakfast, generous public amenities, with only 2 things that brought it down: lack of proper cleaning and maintenance. But I had recommended my friends to stay here nonetheless, as this place is the closest to internationally accepted standard of a hostel in 10 km radius.

Tani Jiwo is the best hostel/homestay in Dieng. It has a stylish, modern design and five-star amenities. The staffs are friendly and helpful. They even have the kind thoughts to allow us to check in earlier and the rooms are readied. We were lucky to go to Dieng over weekdays because Tani Jiwo is fully booked over weekends. I will go to Tani Jiwo again! Highly recommended.

The hostel was ok, probably the best place to stay in dieng plateau. Dieng plateau was a disappointment. Is a very poor area completely filled with garbage. The nature and views are good but you cannot get pass all that plastic garbage. It doesn't worth the effort of getting there.
