This is a beautiful historic home with quintessential Chicago charm. We spent a long weekend here for our daughter’s wedding and could not have been more pleased. There is plenty of space and it’s well appointed so everyone was comfortable. The location is perfect and the parking is a huge bonus. We hope for a reason to come back and enjoy this home again.

Highly recommend this house for large groups. We chose this area because it was 8 minutes from our wedding venue. It was a fantastic house for getting the bride and 9 bridesmaids dressed for the wedding. The curving staircase gave us beautiful pictures of the bride. The house has three stories and lots of stairs. Fortunately, there is one bedroom on the first floor. Everyone was excited to be staying in a part of Chicago Uptown history. Ana is an amazing host and was very accommodating with all of our requests. We all felt very much at home and loved the long dinning room table that accommodated all of us.

Ana was an amazing host! She was accommodating, quick to respond, very communicative, and an overall lovely person to work with. The home was absolutely stunning! All the character and charm you would expect and more! It’s cozy, inviting and the beds were very comfortable. I would 100% recommend staying here, it is the perfect home for a larger group.

Our Christmas family gathering - including 8 young children - in Ana and Sebastian's house, was a huge success and everyone agreed they'd stay again in a heartbeat. Not being from the big city, we were a little leery and nervous at first about the neighborhood, but quickly came to feel comfortable (while being aware) and really appreciated being able to walk to the very short distance to grab groceries a forgotten item. The designated gated parking area behind the house was a godsend, and the enclosed yard area was perfect for the kids to play. The house itself, while showing its age, oozes with character - gorgeous woodwork, creaking floors, and all. The bathrooms and kitchen have been updated very nicely and everything worked perfectly, and the entire house was thoughtfully supplied with essentials and many nice extras. The many, many stairs, some angled, could be a huge issue for anyone with limited mobility or balance, or young children. Overall, we absolutely loved it!
