Really excellent deal. The view from the terrace is beautiful and the family is lovely. Room is basic but comfy and clean and has all the essentials. Outdoor kitchen is a little rustic, but again has everything you need. I ended up using it a lot. Can't beat the beautiful view of the lake while making coffee and breakfast. Hot water in the shower was lovely. I enjoyed being closer to the locals rather than down with all the hostels. Super close to the morning market. Edwin was super helpful with arranging tours and transportation. I also took Spanish classes at his school for a couple of weeks and really enjoyed those!

Edwin and his family are so kind and welcoming of your in their space. Your room is on the top floor with its own terrace and the view is stunning!! Every morning it was so nice to sit in the hammock and look out at the view of the lake. Also The bed was comfortable and the shower had hot water!

We really enjoyed our stay in San Pedro. At first the house was difficult to find but Edwin’s mum kindly came to find us. The house is located only 5 minutes from the main street and the boat dock (it’s uphill though so the first walk there with luggage is quite tough). The room is as described, clean, a decent size with an attached bathroom. There’s also a really nice outdoor patio with seating, a hammock and a small kitchen for guest use. The family live downstairs and are all very friendly. We also did our laundry here for a good price (Edwin’s mum takes it and delivers it the next day). We didn’t always have hot water in the bathroom but Edwin was quick to resolve this. All in all, a really nice stay at the lake.

Incredible view, very peaceful place to stay. Very close to both the market and the shore of the lake. There were a couple minor issues which Edwin immediately responded to and fixed. Wifi was fast enough for working and video calls. Highly recommend joining the Spanish school for weekly activities and learning.

The outdoor space was great, with nice view in the morning (the lake was cloudy/foggy EVERY afternoon) and we enjoyed relaxing in the hammock and working outdoors. The Open kitchen was pretty cool and the location was convenient, with both the center of town and the restaurants/tourist area within walking distance. However, there were some downsides. Since people cook with wood in San Pedro, there was a lot of smoke, which made it difficult to work from the terrace. Additionally, the internet was slow at times (Max Speed of 9 Mbps up and 0.8 Mbps down) making remote work a struggle at moments.
