Heavitree was the most charming getaway! My husband and I stayed in the Tavern Suite, and found it to be comfortable and cozy. Charlotte was so welcoming. We especially loved our breakfast, and walk through the tree farm. Don’t hesitate to book!

We had a lovely time at the B&B. The host Charlotte was so friendly and accommodating, moreover an amazing cook! The breakfast was absolutely delicious and she baked apple and blueberry pies for the guests, which were to die for! The scenery and foliage really helped me relax and refocus. I would love to visit again :)

Cannot praise this place enough!!! Charlotte was so flexible in working with my canceled flight/last minute change of plans. She is a spectacular host—so unbelievably warm and welcoming. She’s also one heck of a cook! She prepared the most delicious Eggs Benedict and made sure I had everything I could ever want or need for breakfast. The house itself is not only immaculate, but also a literal time machine. Every room was so thoughtfully decorated and true to its original 1600s time period. I truly was blown away. The farm is also so incredibly beautiful and peaceful. You would absolutely be missing out if you didn’t stay here.

Charlotte’s place was amazing! We immediately felt at home. She saw us drive up and greeted us at the door. She gave us a small tour of the main level of the house —and WOW, what a spectacular labor of love. No detail was spared. Our room was on the second floor, accessible by the stairwell next to the piano. It was a private wing with a private bathroom across the hall. The bedroom was big, although just a heads up that the lighting is a little dark. It didn’t bother us, though. The bed has a modern mattress and is really comfortable. There is a hidden TV in a cabinet. In the morning, we awoke to the wafting smell of coffee. Charlotte prepared for us her specialty, eggs Benedict. It was so delicious! I highly recommend it. Tall travelers be aware—the shower in that suite is short and narrow. We are 5’8” and fit in it fine, but any taller and it will be difficult for you. However, there is a huge, jetted bathtub! We would absolutely stay at Heavitree again! Thank you, Charlotte!

Look no further and treat yourself to a wonderful experience at Charlotte’s place. She definitely is the cherry on the top, extremely welcoming and considerate and such a wonderful cook, her breakfast was perfect. The property is quaint, secluded and magical, just what is needed to escape the city! Will be back during the winter to pick our Christmas tree and enjoy Charlotte’s Christmas decorations :)
