The hosts were very nice and welcoming, we were greeted by their daughter who showed us around when we arrived. The cottage was clean and had a big garden which was lovely. We had a very nice time here!

What can I say.. what a gorgeous cottage in a great locatiom for us. I booked for my parents and sister to visit from London (we live nearby). Immaculate, cosy cottage with lovely, decor. A huge back garden and overlooking feilds, it feels like being away from it all, but is still handy for a short drive to shops. There's a Tesco nearby and a brilliant chip shop in the town of Plains). It's also a short drive to Dumgelloch train station, which has easy links to both amazing cities of Glasgow (approx 40 minutes) and Edinburgh (appox 55 mintues)! Ideal for the Edinbugh festival and Glasgow comedy festival. Such a luxury touch to have a hottub only a few steps away, and the wamth and hospitality, from Elaine and John was brilliant. They were great at keeping in touch. What a fab option to also hire the identical cottage next door. We didn't use that this time but will definitely next time. 5 stars. We'd definitely recommend!

My partner and I stayed with our 7 month daughter and we were not disappointed l! Elaine was so friendly and showed us around , nothing was a bother! The house was spotless and spacious which is so important to us whilst with our baby! We would 100% recommend this place and hope to stay again soon.

John and Elaine were very helpful and accommodating with us when the weather seemed to be against us, they were only a message for anything we needed, really enjoyed our stay
