It truly is a peace of heaven. Quiet seaport town WITHOUT traffic, yet plenty of restaurants, lovely beach, quaint shops and the sound of the ocean. Doesn’t get any better than that. Wonderful downtown offers tennis/pickle ball/basketball courts, and bath house on the water. Fort Phoenix is a short walk away….

Great location on friendly waterfront road within short walk or bike to both lifeguarded and natural town beach areas, with additional waterfront trails (and ice cream) further up West Island. We enjoyed the property's private waterfront for kayaking, fishing, and watching osprey, heron, and cormorants. (Water shoes might come in handy for wading.) Beds were comfortable, with AC in two bedrooms, and fans in the third bedroom to distribute cold air from the well-cooled living space. The kitchen was convenient to make meals for our crew, and the deck and balcony was relaxing to watch the Vineyard Ferry go by in dostance and listen to the causeway concerts. Host provides great suggestions, and you can check out Fairhaven Tourism site for additional events and activities.

Wonderful stay with beautiful beachfront view and access. Very quiet neighborhood allowing for a restful and peaceful time with family !! Close to town beach and great area to kayak and bike.
