Great location and 2 mins walk to the subway. One stop away from Hong dae which is fantastic. Quite noisy at night as the apartment was at the basement. Noises can be heard at 6am too.

The apartment from Dug Young was exactly like the pictures. It was really easy to find and clean. I stayed with two friends and we definitely had enough space. Dug Young answered right away when I had a question or a problem. Around the apartment where a lot of restaurants and the subway were around the corner so you could get around Seoul real easy. We can really recommend the apartment and definitely want to come back if it's available the next time we're in seoul.

Great Location to ride subway and grocery store. But, the area is a hot place for young people not for a family with children. The surroundings were full of sewer odor. It goes away and comes back for some reason. Other than that, it had everything we needed for 2 weeks stay.

Overall location is great (Hapjeong, near train and bus stations) as well as the host. Dugyoung is responsive and has been very helpful throughout our stay. Downside is that the unit is just beside a public cr, so you can hear whenever someone goes in or out; unit also has clutter, placement of some items on the photos are now different like refrigerator, and comfort/shower rooms are steep and small which is hard for me as a 7-month pregnant woman. Other than those, all else is good, unit is walkable to stations, convenient stores, and cafes. There are lot of bars in area too. Next to Hapjeong station is Hongik/Hongdae which we frequent too. We're satisfied and the stay was worth what you pay for. Thank you :)

We absolutely loved Doug's place! As a group of 3, we stayed here for a month and here are our thoughts. 1. Location: The Airbnb is located in a very convenient place. Once you find it, it is very easy to get to some local/hole in the wall restaurants/stores by turning right (you'll know what I mean), or to get to the mall/subway/bus stops/city area by turning left. The entrance is just a little off of the main road, which provides a smidge more security and buffer from the outside noise. The Airbnb itself is underneath a restaurant, and sometimes the smells from there would permeate into the baco bathroom and hallway, but it wasn't anything unbearable! 2. The bedrooms: You can easily fit up to 6 comfortably in the house. There are what we deemed 3 designated bedrooms, and the living room could be used as a bedroom as well (that's what my friends used) The rooms are pretty bare, but that's not a bad thing! You can control the temperature in each room to your liking, which is a huge plus if your travel mates like different sleeping temperatures. I would suggest bringing your own hangers if you like hanging clothes up, as there were only 6 or 7 provided! Worked well for me though! The beds are cozy, a bit on the firmer side! 3. The kitchen: The kitchen is a bit small, but the size of the Airbnb, is not a bad thing. It has 2 working gas stoves, cabinet space, and we were provided with plates/bowls/glasses/spoons and chopsticks/the necessities. A few basic cooking ingredients were provided as well, like soy sauce/sesame oil/etc. It was just enough for our group. I couldn't personally find the measuring cups, though I could have missed them. The counter space was rather limited, so cook wisely. 4. The bathrooms: There are 2 washrooms - 1 is a shower head in the room with the sink and washing machine, and one was an actual shower stall with the toilet in an adjacent room. We used the shower stall only - shampoo and body wash provided! Water comes out very hot and doesn't seem to run out. 5. Communication/hospitality: I communicated with Doug through Kakaotalk , though we sometimes would use the Airbnb app. He was very kind and offered to take out our trash/recycling and bathroom garbage/change our bedsheets, which was rather nice. We didn't see each other much, but that was okay. He checked on us a couple times throughout our stay. We also had an issue with one of our group members not being able to come, and Doug was very understanding of the situation. He was a delightful host, and we couldn't have asked for anyone better. Overall, we had an amazing stay! The Airbnb was not overtly special/luxurious, but it was a cozy and modest place to call home for a month! Doug was fantastic too, so if you can overlook a few very minor potential turnoffs, this will be the perfect place for you!
