A quiet, peaceful spot and a very warm welcome from Judith! A delightful host who added all kinds of touches including fresh milk, fruit and eggs and bacon in the fridge for breakfast! How kind and thoughtful! Lovely thick bath towels and robes in the closet! Judith also provided a map of La Veta… gave us a quick summary of each art gallery and a superb dinner recommendation! Overall we loved staying here and will be back for sure! Thank you so much Judith!

Judith’s guesthouse is very comfortable and clean. Neighborhood location, so easy walking to all things La Veta. Biking around the village and nearby county roads is easy. The art throughout the guesthouse is so beautiful. After years of various Airbnb stays, this one is the best. A perfect fit for me, all the way around!

I am always a little skeptical of reviews that seem too exuberant. But I must say that everything that was said about Judith’s place in La Veta was true…and then some! The accommodations were spacious, well appointed, very clean, and beautiful. Judith was an excellent communicator, both before we arrived, upon arrival, and during our stay. She gave excellent advice about local restaurants and sites, and was a most gracious host. Beyond that, Judith is an accomplished fiber artist, photographer, world traveler, gourmet cook, and warm, adventuresome spirit. All of that is reflected in her Airbnb unit. Just being there was inspiring, restful, and stimulating. We can’t wait to come back!
