Big Lick Retreat is an amazing oasis that gives you access to enjoy and take in all the beauty and adventure that Lake Moomaw has to offer. Eagle Roost is wonderful right at the top of the mountain, quaint and private, with everything you need provided. Erin was very helpful and responsive. Her directions to the retreat and her descriptions of the retreat were spot on. We had the most wonderful week of playing and exploring.

The cabin is in a remote, but reachable place. The cabin is located on a private section of mountain, but it is near a public recreation area. all in all, the location is beautiful and a nice slice of mountain land.

So many fishing opportunities between property and lake and trout fishing. Lodgings were as advertised and great.

the house is very out dated, flooring in entry way needs replaced, furniture needs updated and very uncomfortable. need to change the pictures that are posted with the house bc it leadsu to believe the lake is just out front from the house and it's not all, you have a good drive to it and than it's not that good of an area at all! def will not be going back and def not worth the price we paid at all!! very disappointed!

Great retreat location! Private location nestled in the woods, solid amenities, loved everything about the location! The lodge itself was awesome and the communication was great! 10/10 recommend. ♥️
