It was our first time in Florence, and we really enjoyed our time at this apartment. The place was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed having the conveniences, including a TV with Netflix. The living room was very nice to hang out in, and the kitchen was well equipped. The bed was comfortable. There was a closet for hanging our clothes. The location was wonderful, we walked everywhere, including to and from the train station. Mariangela, the host, gave us many suggestions which were helpful. We were greeted when we arrived, and given a comprehensive overview of all the details of the apartment.

Location, location, location! We enjoyed the authenticity of staying in a centuries-old Italian flat in a building with local residents who've lived there for decades. The apartment was well-equipped and comfortable. We'd planned on staying at hotel and switched to this at the last minute, and we're so glad we did--a much better location and an extremely comfortable stay!

Simply, WOW! We come to Firenze every year and this was the best place we have stayed. Location was perfect. The space was exactly what we needed as a family of 4. Mariangela and her team were thoughtful, welcoming, and communicative! We couldn’t ask for much more and hope we can stay here again when we are back in Florence.

Located about halfway between Duomo and train station, the location was ideal. We did several day trips by train (Siena, Perugia, and Bologna). The flat was very clean, roomy, extremely quiet, well-lit, with elevator, and nicely appointed. We appreciated the quirky touches: headboard made out of an old door (brilliant), the "flower chair/sculpture," and headless mannequins in the bedroom. (I hung my clothes for the next day on them.) The bedroom door was about a 1/2" shorter than me, so I had to duck. The bidet is a tad close to the shower stall, but a quick turn sideways and a side-step is all that is needed. You are asked to carry all trash to recycling receptacles in the piazza. Left out the front door, take the middle street, 4 minutes. Live like a Florentine. Mariangela and Francesca could not have been more welcoming. Mariangela reached out throughout the trip to warn us of a railway strike, and ask if we needed anything. We would be delighted to stay here again.
