I bought this house 5 years ago to pursue my dream of opening a bed and breakfast in a warm and beautiful atmosphere. Homosassa is a hidden gem and I love it more everyday. Although the house is not as I wish it to be because of unforeseen situations the bedrooms are perfect so I have decided to open my doors early to share this fantastic, spacious big house. I'm realizing that for my high standards it won't be perfect for at least another year. The pool is under construction but the rest of grounds are safe to roam and enjoy with lots of fun things to do locally. A very big hit is “SCALLOPS SEASON” from July to September! Just to let you know that about three years ago, I was diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphoma, it is a non contagious blood cancer. With lots of treatments at Moffit Cancer Institute, I have no cancer right now however a tumor grew so big in my hip that it shattered my hip. Now I must walk with a walker. Otherwise I am fine. Peter is great even though he needs a liver transplant and we are working on his health issues. Peter is the nicest man you have ever met and I am blessed to have found him! Together we have the help of a terrific young man named Dana who is also here. Your Room is perfect in every way! Our goal is to be sure your trip is perfect! If there is anything whatsoever that you need or want …..just ask….it is our pleasure to see you enjoying yourself! We welcome you happily with open arms!
