Staying in this super cosy mountain cabin at Quinta Alma for the month of December was exactly what I needed. Being tucked away amongst the madroño berries and levander, with a stunning view of the valley, and the darkest sky I've seen in a while was super healing. Everything from the way the mist moved through the land, through how the light of the winter sun painted everything golden, to how birdsong orchestrated the day was so magical. ✨❤️ Joana and Mario were the nicest hosts, they welcomed me warmly, helped with everything I needed and even offered me fresh oranges from the garden that were super delicious! Thank you so much!

We felt so lucky to stay in this spot. Apparently, it is usually booked out well in advance, but we secured a cancelled spot by chance due to our habit of late booking! The accommodation is yurts/huts but they are beautiful and were not hot overnight, despite 35 degree heat during the day. Outdoor eco showers and toilets with each room are private and beautiful. The stars and Milky way were clearly visible overnight. The food in this place is next level delicious so make sure to book in for the dinner which has heaps of veggie options! Breakfast was included and was an array of gorgeous homemade/home grown or locally sourced delicacies. The volunteers working here were all so lovely and responsive, particularly Natasha and Joanne who we saw frequently, as well as Joana herself! 2 big Portugese mastiffs live here, as well as 8 cats and some donkeys which was delightful. This felt like a 5-star retreat but at great value

Amei! Fim de semana inesquecível! Desde check-in até o check-out tudo correu perfeitamente. As indicações são precisas, portanto foi fácil chegar a quinta. O lugar é magnífico, cheio de beleza e paz em plena conexão com a natureza. A Joana, Mário e todo o staff são muito amigáveis, simpáticos e sempre disponíveis. A cabana lindíssima com aquele silêncio e privacidade que procurávamos. Rico pequeno almoço, refeições cinco estrelas (para quem quiser almoçar ou jantar na quinta) preparadas com produtos da horta, tudo biológico. Para quem vem de carro será fácil visitar o que há a volta da quinta (praias, restaurantes, parques etc.) Com certeza voltaremos!

A wonderful place to enjoy the peace & nature. We looked forward every morning to the incredibly delicious breakfast which was prepared with love. The Tents/bed was very comfortable, not hot or cold at night in addition there was hot water for showering at the communal shower which was also great. We had great fun with the cats, dogs and sweet donkeys on the property. It is a perfect starting point for great beaches (15-30min drive) and wonderful sunsets as it is the west coast. Aljezur is 5 minutes away and has great restaurants if you want to eat out. Quita Alma is a wonderful experience which I would highly recommend to anyone and where you meet lovely people! 🌺

Een heerlijke plek midden in de natuur. Voldoende privacy en er wordt iedere ochtend een heerlijk ontbijt voor je klaargemaakt om je dag goed te beginnen! Heel fijn verblijf gehad! We komen zeker terug
