很有调性的小屋，除了洗漱和上厕所不方便以外，并且离城中稍微有点远（走路十分钟）以外，是个很棒的地方。如果你自己有交通工具（雪地摩托或者车）住这里性价比很高，当然，也可以选择叫的士。

Nous étions 4 amis venus découvrir Longyearbyen et ses alentours Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le logement, conforme à la description Le manque de toilettes à l'intérieur et l'absence d'eau courante n'ont pas été trop ressentis, cela fait partie de l'expérience. Les demandes de refill d'eau sont très vite honorées. L'emplacement est à 10 à 15 minutes à pied de la ville, mais nous avons beaucoup apprécié car la vue est magnifique.

The place is what we were expecting for our trip in Svalbard during the winter. The big cabine is confortable and warm. The dry toilets are outside but warm, we enjoyed experimenting peeing in the cold weather 😀 the place in the middle of the snow so you can feel as a real polar trapper 😁 One night the community power station turned off the electricty from 23:00-06:00, as they needed to work for maintenance. Madeleine has directly supplied us with wood to keep the cabin warm. She was very proactive! Thanks so much! we really appreciated. We definitely recommend this place.

Alles in allem ein schöner Aufenthalt. Wenn wir noch einmal Urlaub auf Spitzbergen machen, dann sicherlich wieder hier. Einzig und alleine der Preis ist ein wenig zu hoch, wenn man bedenkt das man gar kein fließendes Wasser hat und nur eine Trockentoilette, welche bei Schnee recht schwierig ist. Durch Schneeverwehungen mussten wir öfter alles freischaufeln. Ansonsten ist die Umgebung ein Traum, was jedoch die Natur einem gegeben hat.

We spent 2 night at Tommy's Lodge and we felt like to live in a cabin like in a movie. Kitchen is fully equipped with gas stove and oven,coffe machine, boiler, pan, pot, cutlery etc. There is a husky farm just in front but the cabin is soundproof, 15 minute walking to the centre of Longyearbyen and beautifull surrounding. The Lodge is really like in the picture and Madeleine was a fast responser for anything... Highly recommended, would be back if visiting Svalabard again! PS:the dry toilet(heated) is outside so don't drink too much beer:)
