I chose Willow Cottage at it's designed to accommodate people with mobility challenges. My mother has had a major back operation, and was perfect for her - open plan, no stairs, and shower with a seat. The location is beautiful, as is the cottage. Laurain is lovely and very welcoming, and kindly provided us with eggs, butter, milk, home made cake and bread. My mother and I very much enjoyed our stay.

Had a lovely stay at Willow Cottage. Laurain made us feel very comfotable and welcome. The cottage was lovely and cosy and well equipped. Laurain even gave us a armchair which is more accessible for my disabled grandmother. The bathroom floor could get quite slippery especially by the door but squeegee was provided to help with this.

This was my second time staying at Willow Cottage in the past 6 months and we loved every bit of it. Laurain is a fantastically friendly and welcoming host, and nothing is too much trouble. Her complementary home baking (bread, muffins) which we thoroughly enjoyed along with the Breakfast Hamper (Sausages, Bacon, Halloumi, Apple Juice, etc) we ordered for our stay made us feel right at home. As a full-time Electric Wheelchair user, I love the accessibility of the space, including the spacious & well equipped wet room and ease in which I was able to move around the whole cottage. Laurain has been really supportive about us moving furniture around the space to make it as homely as possible. With parking directly outside the cottage which made settling in a breeze. We enjoyed seeing the alpacas, chickens and other farmland animals onsite, definitely a real treat. We would definitely recommend as a place for a quiet retreat as well as a place to act as a hub to explore the local area.
