This is a charming old house and Drew, the neighbor, is very helpful as a point of contact. It’s very nice that the owners stock the fridge with eggs, croissants, milk, etc. But future renters should be aware that this house does NOT have 1.5 bathrooms. There is a full bathroom on the second floor, no bathroom on the main floor, and a toilet was installed next to the washer/dryer in an unfinished concrete basement which is what they’re calling a half bathroom. Not a deal breaker, but also not an accurate description at all.

Beautiful lakefront views. It was so peaceful to sit on the porch and watch the water, and there were couples of swans swimming about. The house is older but charming and all needs are thought of. The neighbor is very helpful for check in and very responsive when needed. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return again!

We came to the area to visit family for the weekend, and Ashton & Mary Ann’s house was located right in the middle of where we needed to go. The house was adorable and perfect for a home base while we were coming and going throughout the weekend. I loved the décor… it’s kind of old fashioned, but super charming and fit the vibe of the house. It reminded me of visiting my grandmother’s house as a child. My favorite part of the trip was sitting in the sunroom, having morning coffee and watching the swans. We definitely hope to stay here again when we come back to visit.
