Siamo stati molto bene, abbiamo soggiornato con i nostri bambini e siamo molto contenti della scelta. Un po’ di problemini riscontrati all’arrivo ma gestiti con prontezza e velocità. Ci sentiamo di consigliare l’alloggio e consigliare a Caterina e Roberto qualche attenzione più ai particolari interni della villa.

My family and I stayed here for a week in mid-December. It is clear that this villa was built for the summer, as a lot of investment is spent on the pool and outdoor areas. The indoor area is small, spartan and unfortunately rather uncomfortable. There was only a three seater couch and a single armchair. For a place that claims to sleep 8 pax comfortably, it is disappointing that there is only lounge space enough for 4. One of us always had to sit on cold, metal dinner chairs. The owners should consider that guests might like to stay indoors when it averages at 7 degrees Celsius outside. The heating facilities were good, despite the exceptionally cold winter. When we arrived, 2 of the hobs in the kitchen were broken. We had to communicate this to the landlord, who organised for a handyman to fix it for us. The indoor oven is a portable one, but we managed to roast lamb well over the course of 10 hours. We were told that hot water was unlimited, but sadly only one of us could shower with hot water at any one time. That said, the villa was very clean. Toilets were sparkling clean. The view from the villa of the sea by way of Polignano a Mare is stunning, and there is nothing quite as lovely as looking out in the mornings. The landscape of the villa are lovely and the pool is very inviting. The beds were nice and firm, we all slept very well here. It isn’t far from Polignano at all. We had a car and buying groceries only took 10 mins. It was very central to visit neighbouring cities. We would love to come back in summer, but recommend the owners upgrade their furniture and facilities for the winter.

Amazing villa in a wonderful location. Pool was gorgeous and kept lovely and clean. Grounds very spacious and picturesque. Perfect size for two families of four. Beds comfortable with lovely crisp cotton linen. Interior design simple and modern yet rustic. Simple kitchen facilities but adequate for our needs. Out of town so you have to drive to restaurants etc. Nothing in walking distance and cabs not easily available. Lots of mosquitoes because of the hot weather and fruit plants so remember the bug spray. Wonderful host who was extremely responsive to our requests. Outside pizza oven and bbq were great fun to use. Three out of the four bedrooms have air conditioning and another unit in the living area - adequately kept the villa cool in the hot weather. Be careful of the tiled floors when wet - can get slippery from wet feet from the pool.
