This was a great find. The owners were very hospitable. The house was a short walk to the beach and very well stocked with beach equipment. All the amenities inside the house were great as well. There was a well stocked kitchen. We felt right at home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Blue Roost. Lauren provided all the extras to make our stay even more enjoyable from soaps in the bathroom to the spice drawer in the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were top notch! We would highly recommended this for your next stay in Port-A!

Blue Roost is a beautifully remodeled Port Aransas home, one of the nicest ones in which we have stayed! Lauren was welcoming through her communications via email and text, and she made herself readily available should we need anything. The house had generous supplies of paper towels, dish soap, dishwashing detergent, bath toiletries, toilet paper, lovely fluffy white bath towels…….the list goes on and on! And the kitchen was stocked with more new fresh spices than I have in my own kitchen! The wifi connection was strong and we enjoyed all the options for television viewing. With easy access to the beach and to Port Aransas, Blue Roost offers the best location for both.

Great place to stay and very easy to walk to the beach and explore Port A. Loved and appreciated the black out curtains. Kitchen well equipped and we used the large table for games.
