The Loft apartment was a charming and cozy place to stay. I found that the area surrounding the Urban Victorian was clean and free of unhoused people and quiet at night. I felt comfortable walking around the neighborhood and would come back again.

Truly a gem of a place to stay. Absolutely beautiful space, with excellent views and lots of phenomenal restaurants/bars/the convention center/public transit lines within a 5-10 minute walk.

The good: The space itself was very clean. The shower pressure/temperature was fantastic. The space is akin to a large hotel suite. It’s a decent option if you only need a place to sleep and no vehicle (though a bit overpriced). The hosts are very reasonable and kind. The bad: The homeless camps around the house are quite bad. There are large camps directly across the street from the loft entrance, adjacent to your driveway. The loft may be dog-friendly, but the neighborhood is littered with garbage and the sidewalks overtaken by camps making it difficult to walk the dogs anywhere. The camps are quite noisy day and night, and draw larger crowds of people than you might expect. It was uncomfortable walking outside during the day, unsafe by night. The first night we were awoken just after midnight by gunshots out front. We stayed the first night, but we didn’t trust the safety of our vehicle out front or our ability to walk the dogs in the area. It’s unfortunate the area is so bad.

great place to stay in a great location! be aware the bathroom is outside of the loft at the top of the staircase!
