We truly loved the house and setting. Very small kitchen and hard for 2 people to work in, but has all the necessities. I can’t imagine how beautiful this area is in full autumn color. We were fortunate to watch and hear a loon our last afternoon sitting on dock. Would stay again.

We took our kids up before they went off to college as a family vacation. We had a wonderful, peaceful time. At first we were looking at a KOA campground, too many little kids, not peaceful. It eventually evolved into this place. We were mostly in the screened in porch when we were not outside. The sunrise with the morning coffee, the sunset while playing Uno as a family with no devices, perfect! During the day, we were all enjoying the water, even those of us who can't swim. The swimmers went with their life vests (included) in the middle of the water, non-swimmers went by kayak and canoe. Yes there was that one guy who was constantly going back and fourth in his motorized boat causing swells in the water. This place has everything you could want. The Keurig was perfect in the morning. They have a popcorn popper too. We took along our Brita. All of us agreed this was a perfect place to get away. They have a TV that the kids never wound up watching because they were having so much fun. They have lots of board games in the closet. We didn't know so we took along our own. The only negative we could state was that the upstairs bathroom did not have a lock.

We had a wonderful vacation. The home was very clean and had everything we could possibly need for the week.
