We had a wonderful stay at The Sandbox! Perfect for us and our 2 children . The location looking out over the ocean was stunning. And the house is perfect for long days spent in the sun. We enjoyed the outdoor shower Coming in from the beach . Riding bikes around the quiet neighborhood was so nice. We stumbled upon some great local food while staying at the house. Communication with Rodney was exceptional . We hope to return next year. Thank you !

Da wir zuvor eine Woche mit einer Segelyacht unterwegs waren, haben wir viele Strände und Buchten gesehen. Treasure Cay ist der schönste Strand auf den Bahamas und das Haus liegt genau dort mit direktem Zugang zum Meer. Ende Februar waren quasi keine Leute am Strand, also Ruhe pur! Im Haus haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt, es ist alles da was man braucht. Bäder sind tatsächlich alt und sehen daher schmutzig aus, obwohl sie frisch geputzt waren. Hat uns aber nicht gestört. Schade dass es keine wirkliche Terrasse und keine Sitzmöglichkeit draußen gibt. Man muss drinnen essen. Alles in allem aber sehr empfehlenswert, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt :-)

I can’t say enough wonderful things G’s about Sandbox. The house has a “Bohemian vibe”, nothing fancy, but such a great feel. The beds and linens were top notch. And the location....amazing! The house is situated on the most beautiful white sand beach I have ever seen amongst beautiful houses. We chartered a boat for the day, which is a must in order to see some of the other Cays. We rented ours from the marina at Treasure Cay (ask for Gary!) Gary took us to all the truly amazing spots: No Name Cay to see the pigs, snorkeling and lunch at Nippers. Rod, the host was truly exceptional and answered every question we had along the way. We will definitely be back to the Sandbox!!!!

The Sandbox is a unique and very spacious cottage in a fabulous location on the amazing Treasure Cay beach. The house is on a very pretty and quiet street, just a few minutes from restaurants, shops and the golf course. You don’t need a car; everything is easily accessible by golf cart. Although dated, the house was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable; great beds, lots of towels including bathrobes, beach towels, etc. The older kitchen was a bit of a disappointment for us as we prefer to cook most of our meals at home. Nevertheless, the location and other advantages made up for it. Caroline and Rodney were excellent hosts, were very helpful and provided us with many useful tips.

Great little house on the beach. Older home but perfect for those seeking a decent size place on Treasure Cay. We stayed with 6 adults and one child. Be sure to go down to treasure sands by the entrance of the neighborhood for pool time, drinks and food. Best meal at fire fly in Hopetown. Swim with the pigs at no name cay. Snorkel anywhere around the reefs. Good times at the Bahamas
