We got in late, around 11:30pm & Pearl greeted us at the driveway. She left us a fresh loaf of bread & jam on the table & gave us a quick welcome. The cottage was spotless & everything was fresh. Bed linens were crisp white. She has a nice guide book full of info. We traveled to Banff (2.5 hrs), Jasper (3.5 hrs) & Radium Springs (45 min) from the cottage. Hwy 1 was closed so there was some extra traffic but it did not bother us one bit. Internet is spotty but that should be expected. You are not walking distance to anything. Get groceries ahead of time. There was a bear sighting & Pearl waited for us to get home to warn us to be loud & aware when walking to the cottage. Cottage is next to their house but you have plenty of privacy. There’s actually no windows on her home that face cottage. Our kids did go chat it up with her husband who was very nice. It was a perfect stay.

Really good place to stay, the host was really nice and she helped us alot in almost everything. I really recommend people to book their place :)

Pearl's place is an absolute gem! A little patch of peace and open space, in a beautiful valley location - perfect for some time away from the bustle, with lots of open lawn for kids (and adults!) to enjoy, and a short drive from the amenities of Radium and Golden.
