Mairead was a wonderful host, quick to reply and willing to offer lots of recommendations. I would definitely book her flat again! Location: For a long stay, being outside the touristy areas of the city was perfect. The West Hampstead underground stop (on the Jubilee line) was less than 10 minutes away, as were the overground and Thameslink stations. There are lots of local businesses within just a few minutes' walk, plus multiple grocery options within 10 minutes. The flat itself: It was just as pictured and worked well for two adults on a work trip. One of us worked in the second bedroom and one of us in the living room. The wifi was generally okay but lagged a bit during Zoom meetings. I stayed there in May, with highs from the high 50s-high 60s(F). The flat was cooler than outside but we tried not to run the heat excessively; the radiators didn't throw a ton of heat so sitting near them and/or planning to bring layers in colder weather is probably a good idea.

Mairead was a wonderful host and her flat was lovely as well! Her place was thoughtfully equipped with all the necessities for a comfortable stay, and Mairead was always a quick and easy message away if you needed her. The location of the flat is extremely convenient, given its proximity to the underground, Thameslink, buses, and grocery stores. It’s also surrounded by plenty of cute and unique eateries, so you’re never far from a good bite.

Had a fabulous stay at Mairead’s home. As a host, Mairead is everything you could ask for. Warm, attentive and communicative. The home itself is at ground level, attached to a shared garden, and right next to a small public courtyard. Location was only about 10 minute walk to the West Hampstead tube station, and if needed you could take a bus from a bus stop across the road that stops in front of the tube station. Overall superb, would stay again.
