Mike's place was perfect for my family .The beach was just a few steps from the house and it was very private with plenty of room . The house was immaculate. Mike is very responsive and kind . I highly reccomend his home to all travelers!

Mike's home is just as described. He communicated clearly before our stay, gave a thorough orientation upon arrival, and kept in touch during our vacation. Plenty of amenities provided: beach towels, chairs, bikes, boogie boards, etc. Clean pool and beautiful private backyard. Location is quiet neighborhood and easy access to the beach.

It really is a gamble when booking houses for vacations from an App. you never know for sure until you get there exactly what you've booked. With Mike's Beach house it was pretty much right on as described when we were looking. what makes Mike's house stand out is its location, super short walk to the beach and a little further walk to stores, shops and places to eat. We came back most days and hung out at the great pool and backyard. Was a great vacation and would recommend and stay at Mike's Beach house again.

J. Michael is a wonderful host. Always a quick response to any questions we had. We've stayed in many vacation rentals but this home is at the top of our list. I would give Mike, his home, and the location a definite 5 stars.

A museum of a house! It is not ideal for young children. There are very valuable and breakable items all over the house. It requires constant management of little ones. The house is beautiful! It was clean. A perfect location right down the street from the beach and quiet neighborhood. The owner is very communicative. Contactless check-in would have been preferred especially since Covid is still an issue. We asked to push our check-in back an hour because we were very hungry after a 5 hr flight and 1.5 hr drive to the house. It was clear this was not ideal for the host so we accommodated his schedule. We asked if he could just take my husband through the check-in "process" so we could just do it quickly and leave for dinner. The host requested that all guests be present for check-in (myself, husband, 77yr old mother and 6 yr old son). When it was clear that my mother was exhausted and I had to help her get out of the car he said she could stay in the car. However, he still requested that I get my 6yr old out of the car seat to come in. He then proceeded to walk us through the entire house room by room it was less than quick. His whole check-in process took about 20 min. Not at all ideal for us. However, if you are looking for a very thorough walk through of a house including how to turn off/on light switches and lock the deadbolt on the front door then this house host is for you. We pride ourselves on being very clean and respectful guests while in someone else's house. I know we left this house in great condition because we closed off certain areas of the house our entire stay. There was a room that the owner said had the most valuable items in the entire house. Those doors were shut and not opened the entire stay. Another front room was filled with shells and the owner made a comment that some of them were easily the price of a car, um wow, while very cool not a place I want my 6 year old! That room was off limits. The owner made several comments during our lengthy check-in that he didn't want us to feel like we needed to walk on egg shells. How could we not! The house has so many beautiful, valuable and very breakable items. I didn't realize the extent of how many shells and other collectables were all over the house or I would have booked another house so we could just relax. An amazing house for sure! Just not ideal for young children. And a bit of advice, this is not the house for you if you are college kids seeking a spring break party house!
