Paula’s place is superb- a beautiful, bright home with sweeping views across the Pacific Ocean and nearby bay. There’s a delightful pool and jacuzzi in the back overlooking the national park lands (which almost always have kangaroos right across the backyard fence!). Paula is a wonderful host, friendly and generous with her time and her home (and her puppy Kiko is the sweetest dog, so well behaved and gentle). I loved mornings sitting on the deck, watching all the social birds flit between the trees. The house is also very close to multiple spectacular beaches- including the main Pambula beach (you can see roos here too!) and the turquoise calm blue waters of the river mouth beaches. Plus Beowa National Park is RIGHT out the door for hiking, biking, and even more picturesque secluded beaches. Wow what a place! I will be back! Thank you for such hospitality, Paula!

We had a group of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids) as well as our two dogs for the week and were very happy with Paula’s house in Pambula. The view from the front deck is amazing - such a beautiful coastline on the Sapphire Coast. The pool and spa were a hit with the kids out the back, and then the trampouline and cricket in the front yard for when the weather wasn’t so summery. The house has lots of space for everyone to not be cooped up in the same room. The kitchen and back deck BBQ were great in the afternoon sun and the big TV was a hit with the whole family at night. We would certainly stay again, and Paula was an amazing host. Very friendly and even allowed us to stay an extra night which was unexpected. Highly recommend for family groups looking for a big house in Pambula.

Great place, clean and airy! Kids had a ball on the trampoline, swimming in the pool and playing outside! The view from the living area of the ocean is divine! We can’t wait to stay there again soon!

Sunnyside Up was a wonderful holiday experience for us, with the house itself exceeding our expectations - it was perfect for our group! One of the highlights was the incredible wildlife interactions; hand-fed lorikeets on the balcony, roos feasting on grass, and echidna in the bush to the back of the house. The kids adored it all! Paula’s communication was excellent, which was particularly important given we stayed during the peak New Year fire emergency period. We’d love to return to spend our tourist dollars in the town, once everyone is back on their feet.
