Saltsjöbaden one of the most fashionable areas in Stockholm can almost be described as Stockholm´s Hamptons where you have the archipelago outside with its water and wonderful nature but still only 20 minutes to Central Stockholm. A characteristic of Saltsjöbaden is the wonderful natural areas that surround the area for those who are interested in running, hiking or montainbike. and for those sports enthusiasts there are within walking distance tennis, padel, golf and when the day is over it is just to walk down to one of the waterfront restaurants and watch the sun set over the beautiful Grand Hotel

It takes about 20 minutes to get to Stockholm and the beautiful little train that will take you is 2 minutes walk from the house.
The journey into Stockholm passes beautiful green areas and the archipelago, but if you want to experience Stockholm from its best side, we recommend you take the boat to Stockholm which adds to Strandvägen central Stockholm. This is a wonderful way to get close to the archipelago and understand why Stockhoms is called Scandinavia's Venice.
