I booked Sunday's place for my mother and her husband's little honeymoon getaway. I had stayed at the property one time before with my lady, and loved it. Well, sure enough, they had a wonderful time. To be expected. Sunday and her husband are extremely accommodating, salt of the earth folks. Their property is phenomenal. You will love this place should you be lucky to stay.

The River Pearl exceeded all of our expectations! We were off to a great start with extra-easy check-in and directions because we would be arriving late. The studio was exactly as described and perfectly appointed, but nothing compares to the beautiful property and the hospitality from Sunday and Sal - including a spectacular breakfast and tour of the grounds! We sipped coffee (and cocktails) on our private beach, our perfect deck, on Sunday and Sal’s dock swing, and in their hot tub overlooking the water. We spent hours exploring in the kayaks. We chilled with Charlie the cat and fed Humphrey the tortoise a few flowers. Can’t wait to return!

As others have said, a wonderful, homey find in a remote corner of Florida. Sunday and her family have done a wonderful job building their dream home, and it's really quite a unique and inviting sanctuary... The weather was bad during our stay, but it didn't stop us from enjoying the hot tub at night and walking the grounds when the rain wasn't falling. Sunday was kind enough to deliver us breakfast in the rain, we were very impressed by that. Homosassa is a great little town, check it out.
