Louise was quick with her responses and friendly when we met. Instructions for travel to and getting into the property were excellent. Property was very clean, and a lovely comfy bed, utensils provided to do snacks / breakfast if required, tea and coffee were plentiful and a tremendous choice provided. Area was well served by local buses , with a stop literally a few yards away. Area was peaceful and safe to walk at night. We were there for Hogmanay and we had a fabulous time and even had blue skies and dry weather. Thank you Louise for allowing us into your home, recommended.

Such a nice place to stay. Louise was lovely and so helpful! So easy to check in and the room was spacious and cosy. We walked into Edinburgh most days but the bus was just as easy. And transport to and from airport was easy and stress free too. Will definitely stay with Louise again :) thanks!

Louise is a lovely host, very proactive with responding. Very cosy room in a victorian style, perfect to rent for a weekend away In Edinburgh.

Louise was an exemplary host from the moment we booked. She gave lots of advice and answered lots of questions. The house is on a busy road but the room we had was extremely quiet. We walked into the city twice, a fairly flat 20 minute walk. About a 10 minute taxi ride from Waverley Station. The room and bathroom were well equipped. There was a fridge, microwave and crockery provided, plus an ample range of teas and coffees. The room was tastefully appointed. Set up as a twin for my son and me there was ample space around the beds. Definitely recommended for anyone visiting Edinburgh and especially Edinburgh University visitors.
